Ally's 1st Birthday Party!

Yesterday we celebrated Ally's 1st Birthday - it's hard to believe on Wednesday she'll be 1. We had a nice party with Nanny & Pop Pops, Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Tom, Auntie Heather, Tara, Sam, Uncle Mick, Auntie Carol, Trevor, Cheryl, J.T. and Sean. Ally slept through dinner but did a great job eating her first ever cupcake!

More Parties!

We've been to quite a few birthday parties recently. Here are a few photos taken at a recent birthday party for Madeline & Ally's friends Luke, who turned 4, and Talia, who turned 2.

125 Years of Bill Daileys!

Today is my Dad's 75th Birthday! On Saturday we had a party for him and my brother Bill who just turned 50 on January 25th. It was a fun time for all with excellent food, despite the fact that my Mom's oven blew up before dinner was cooked. :o) Thank goodness for gas grills!
Madeline & Ally are doing well. We have Madeline's very first parent teacher conference on Wednesday so we are anxious to hear what they have to say about her. Ally now will clap her hands if you ask her to and will wave if you ask her to - it's so cute! I will have to post a video of it soon.

Time to start a blog!

Well, I figure it's time to start a blog for our family!

Madeline turned 4 last month! She's doing great. She attends Bright Beginnings preschool 4 days a week and absolutely loves it. She also takes Ballet, Gymnastics, Basketball (she's the only girl!) and FasTracKids. She keeps me busy but thrives on all the activity.

Ally is almost 10 months old. This past year has flown by. She just cut her 5th tooth today! She's a very happy baby, full of smiles and laughs and absolutely adores her big sister. She's just starting to get around with her own version of a crawl - not on all fours yet but she can scoot and slither and move around quite a bit now. She loves to stand and is really quite sturdy on her legs. Oh, and she loves feeding herself puffs and Cheerios!
